Chilean music


This time I'll be talk about something indispensable in my life, that thing is music, or more specifically, Chilean music.

When I was younger, around 9-10 years old, I started to play music on internet with the first PC that was in my house, in those years I like to listen rock and metal because I played a lot the videogame "Guitar Hero" and its secuels. Bands like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles or Metallica where my favorites back then. I also downloaded music from Ares, a pirate app for PC.

When I grow up, maybe 14-15 years old, I was part of a band in my ex school, being main guitar. We used to play covers from songs like "La exiliada del sur", "Heroína de New York" or "Hijo del diluvio", as you see, all are Chilean music. 


Nowadays, I still enjoy listening Chilean music, but not only Andean or Folk music like I say previously, now I listen all kinds of musical genres, like rap (ChysteMc), salsa (Moral distraida), trova (Tata Barahona), trap (Dref) among others.

Post 4: A meal or food you really like

I really like things made with potatoes 😍 mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, potato omelette (recipe of Chiloe), sauteed potatoes (with rosemary and butter), milcaos, etc. I also really like fish and (salmon, hake, conger eel, pippin), seafood to eat. To drink I like infusions and natural juices.  but i think my favorite food lately is stew, is  made with protein (it can be animal meat or other vegetable meat if you want), potatoes, peas, squash, beans, garlic, oregano, bell pepper, white wine and salt, at least when I cook it I prepare it this way.  I think it is a healthy and balanced meal, because it incorporates many nutrients, proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, so it is good for a tiring day At the moment thanks to the covid I have neither taste nor smell, so they have been really weird days for me

Hi, my name is Nicolás Martínez, or just "Nico", I was born in Puerto Montt, but I lived in a little coast town next to Puerto Montt, called Maullín  for 20 years , and 1 year in Punta Arenas and last month, for study reasons, I was living in Independencia, Santiago. Post 5: A photo and its story

I apologize if anyone gets bothered with this photo, but for me is one of the most influential and badass moments of the human history I think I know something about photography, in previous years I take a few photography courses and I like travel to discover new places in the south of Chile (where I live), so I have several photos that I like and they have a important place in my heart.  But for me, this photo it's the most important of all that I know, For me, represents the most pure state of the human spirit and shows how powerful an idea can be This picture taken by Malcolm Browne, has as protagonist the Buddhist monk "Thích Quảng" an his self-imolation was in protest to the government and its policy towards Buddhists, demanding that it fulfill its promises of religious equality.  When the flames reached him, the monk took the lotus position and without hesitation he waited for his death, not making any movement or sound.
