Bacteriophage as a solution against bacterial infections
In our actual world, thanks to Fleming and other scientists who have contributed to the field of antibiotics, a wound doesn't seem like a big deal to us, quite the opposite of what the same would could mean 300 years ago, where the only solution at best was to amputate the implicated limb and in most cases, an infected wound was an certain death.
But the overuse of antibiotics has caused an unexpected problem. The misusing of them, for headaches, physical pain and colds has caused to bacteria becoming resistant to antibiotics.
These bacterias are called "superbugs", microorganisms capable of resisting any existing modern medicine. This fact will return us to the same situation that existed before penicillin. If we don't have a containment mechanism against bacteria, a simple injury could cost us our lives.
Checked.
